Paul brings a deep understanding of aviation, transport systems and renewable technologies to the Sky team, as well as strong functional skills in financial modelling, investment research and due diligence.

As an investment principle, Paul is responsible for identifying and evaluating investment targets, developing investment strategies, and driving internal programs to improve outcomes.

Why is sustainability in aviation so important to you?

As a flying enthusiast, sustainability in aviation is critically important to me because it addresses the urgent need to reduce the industry's significant carbon footprint and environmental impact. I am passionate about making a difference and see this as a terrific opportunity.

What excites you about the SkiesFifty mission?

SkiesFifty is focussed on achieving net zero for the entire industry and generating outsized financial returns. I see this as a genuinely exciting (and challenging) opportunity where we must seek out the best and brightest minds and look at all available technologies and investment strategies.

How do you balance life with work?

I have a young daughter and an energetic labrador – so this keeps me balanced. We go walking at the start and end of each day, and quite often go swimming at the beach. My wife and I love to go surfing whenever we can, and I still play competitive cricket.

What is on your Spotify playlist right now?

My daughter has a strong influence on my playlist. On the one hand there are lullabies, and the other is music I am introducing to her because I like it. This is primarily older stuff from the likes of Tool, Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, Pink Floyd and Daft Punk.
