A seasoned communications professional, Jonathan has delivered many successful communications, brands and strategies for startups, companies, and individuals across industries and geographies. He held a number of roles at the intersection of creative and consulting including Global Communications Director for Booz & Company. Over his career, he has built a lot of experience advising on messaging, creating comms with impact, and producing deliverables in a wide range of formats from published articles to videos and events.
Travel has enriched my life immeasurably. In my career, I have been lucky enough to work in many different countries. In my personal life, I am married to an amazing woman from a very different culture. For the next generation to enjoy the same kinds of experiences I have benefited from, we urgently need to decarbonise flying.
I’m excited by the calibre of the individuals involved and the team dynamic at SkiesFifty. It is genuinely inspiring to see the commitment and dedication to sustainable aviation. I’m not sure if “excited” is the word, but I am very motivated by the pragmatic approach SkiesFifty takes to the problem, and the focus on driving alignment across all the different industry players.
There are some days when I feel I am still working on that one, but when I do achieve balance it’s due to yoga, spending time with friends and family, and playing music.
Music is a big part of my life, and the playlist is constantly changing. Right now, I am listening to a lot of John Frusciante’s solo work, especially “Shadows Collide with People”, George Harrison, Patti Smith, Caetano Veloso and Coldcut. I recently discovered Altin Gün – I never realised I needed Turkish psychedelic disco in my life until I found it. That’s on heavy rotation at the moment.
